Living On Others Expectation

Living On Others’ Expectation

We graduate, get a job, make money, meet a potential spouse, get married, raise children because these are the expectation of others. Those who do things differently are presumed to be outcasts even though what they do are not necessarily indications that there is something flawed about them.

Our desire to fit in indwells in our subconsciousness that we’d rather go with the flow. And because we care too much of what others think of us, we are devoid of freedom to live. Emptiness creeps into our lives.

To emancipate your soul, you need to decide upon what you want in life, not what the society wants—even if it is repugnant.
