Indefatigable Competitions

Indefatigable Competitions

The world we live in is full of competitions.

You compete with your siblings, your classmates, your colleagues, and even your neighbors.

You compete because of your desire to be better than anyone—starting with your close ones.

You compete because of your insecurity that fears to be the only one left behind as the failure.

You compete because that’s what everybody else does, and you can’t let others out-compete you.

We forfeit connections in favor of winning competitions, and that becomes emblematic of the general behavior of our species.
