Dismissed Confrontation

Dismissed Confrontation

People dislike confrontation. When faced with a minor dispute, we tend to ignore it or at least remain reticent to maintain harmony.

We assume a conflict will get better with time. What actually happens is, we are merely delaying the inevitable. The strife will not get better without any intervention. It can only get worse as people continue to presuppose their standpoints. And, when the problem inexorably blows up, it becomes difficult to contain.

Handle a friction while it is manageable before it grows into deep resentment.
