Overconfidence Bias Cripples Progress

Overconfidence Bias Cripples Progress

Humans are prone to having an excessively high opinion of themselves. It is elevated after experiencing a success, and you unconsciously feel invincible and conceited.

Sadly, the optimism breeds unrealistic confidence, which drags you further from your goals with your ill-conceived ventures. The inability to satisfy a craving for constant social validation produces risky actions.

One success does not guarantee more successes. After a successful endeavor, come back to earth to realize your own limitations. Evaluate how others’ cooperation and luck could have played a part, not just your talents.
