Illusory Superiority

Illusory Superiority

We tend to overestimate our competence. After all the hard work poured into a project, we feel that the world owes us a recognition. We feel that success must be granted to us because our project is special.

But when our work does not live up to expectations, we get disappointed and blame the world.

Watching our lives behind the rose-tinted glasses is delightful, but the reality does not care about how hard we work or the specialty of our projects.
