Liking Bias

Liking Bias

We buy from people we like or at least behave similar to us.

We donate when the ads show a picture of a panda instead of a blobfish even though the latter is in danger of extinction too. 

We purchase from a salesman just because he is a huge fan of wrestling as we do, although we have no use of the purchased item. 

A product has nothing to do with the seller, and yet we let its seller influence us.
