Just Show Up

Just Show Up

Getting stuck with what to do. Staring at a blank canvas. What a common challenge all creative artists face.

The solution is surprisingly simple, that is to just show up for the work. Doing so primes your mind to focus on what you need to do. As you keep at it habitually, you reinforce neuroplasticity to help you cope better with the same problem next time. Your brain learns to carve ideas out overtime.

Embrace the process and the result will follow.

I just showed up when I had a writer’s block and I wrote this post. What about you?
