More Possessions

The compulsion to possess as many as we can plagues our lives.

It feels as if owning many things is one way to attain happiness. At least, that’s what we’ve been told or led to believe. 

But, the things that we want to own now did not exist a century ago, and that does not make our ancestors any less happy.
