One Candy Now or Two Later

You may think that only children are prone to favor what one already has on hand now than to risk losing it by trying to obtain something better. We, adults, are not much different. 

How many of us are willing to trade the present comfort with unknown but potentially rewarding route?

The path looks perilous and unstable. Only the insane will try. Only those who have nothing to lose will take the risks.

  • People who are ready to serve the mass.
  • People who are prepared to stick their necks out.
  • People who are willing to be subjected to critics and rejections.

Not many.
